Growing up as a dancer, I was always interested in all things creative. I explored photography, drawing, clothing design, and decorating. I graduated university with a BSc in Kinesiology and Health Science as i believed that science was the key to a happy life, but boy was I wrong. I decided that the key to happiness was to do something that you are truly passionate about, which lead me to interior design. I have now successfully completed my Diploma in Interior Design with The Interior Design Institute!
I believe that things with a past and a history are beautiful. My work reflects a twist on old world charm. I love incorporating historical elements with a boho chic modern look. Culture and tradition were very important values in my family growing up, and I have continued to honour these throughout my designs. I am inspired by travel, texture, family, and journeys. Spaces are meant to be enjoyed and lived in, a place where you can come home and kick up your feet with good company. In an industrial world that is ever-changing, we sometimes lose sight of who we are and where we have come from. My designs allow people to stay grounded in the comfort of their roots while enjoying the perks of the industrial world.
